When the server changes, the library should know
Dropped files over SFTP? Cleaning up orphans? Sync now imports what WordPress doesn't know about—and surfaces missing files until you fix them.
Reconcile imports unknown files and folders under the upload basedir into the Media Library and flags attachments whose files are missing. Run Sync now anytime, or schedule daily/weekly (default off). Progress runs in the background via Action Scheduler.
