WP Media Directories discovers real directories under your upload basedir, presents them in the native Media Library tree, routes uploads into the selected Folder, and uses Fast or Rewrite moves plus optional Reconcile jobs to keep files, attachments, and content aligned.
Install
Activate WP Media Directories. Disable FileBird or MLP first if present—folder UIs cannot coexist.
Browse
Open Media → Library. Use All media, Unassigned, or a Folder in grid, list, or the attachment modal.
File
Create folders; upload or drag; resolve Replace/Copy if names collide.
Maintain
Move with Fast or Rewrite; Sync now when disk changes; schedule Reconcile if you want.
