Getting started
Purchase, install, license activate, and create your first Folder.
Get WP Media Directories running in minutes: buy a license, install the plugin, deactivate conflicting folder UIs, then create your first physical Folder in the Media Library.
1. Buy and download
- Choose Single Site or Agency on the pricing page.
- Receive your receipt, license key, and plugin download.
2. Prepare the site
- Backup files and database.
- If FileBird or Media Library Plus (or related) is active, deactivate it first—folder UIs cannot coexist.
3. Install and activate
- Upload the plugin zip in wp-admin → Plugins.
- Activate WP Media Directories and enter your license key under Media → Folders.
4. Create your first Folder
- Open Media → Library.
- Create a Folder from the tree toolbar, then upload or move media into it.
